שירה רזניקוב // שמרנות מודרנית

הפרוייקט עוסק בדילמת שמירת מסורת בתוך עולם מודרני. המסורת היא עולם ישן עטוף ושמור שפעמים רבות נוטה להתנגש עם המציאות העכשוויות. הדילמה נוגעת בחיי האישיים ובהתמודדות בין הרצון לשמור על חיים המורכבים משני עולמות אלו. 

הקולקצייה מבטאת את מערכת היחסים שבין זיכרון ומסורת לבין החיים המודרנים דרך ערכים של עיטוף בביטוי צורני דרמטי, חשיפה, שחרור, גילוי ורב שכבתיות. המטרה מצד אחד לעגן בקולקציה זכרונות חומריים, טקסטורליים ודקורטיביים שמגיעים מהמסורת ומהעולם האורתודוכסי ומצד שני לאפשר ללובשת את הבחירה ברמת החשיפה, באופן ובזמן. הבגדים המבטאים מעטפת יוצרים כחלק ממהלך העיטוף צללית גוף חדשה ובוחנים את גבולות הגוף האנושי והנשי תוך שימוש בצלליות מוכרות אך שונות. המתח בין גבולות המחפשים כיוונים חדשניים לבין הצללית המוכרת לעין, מתכתב עם חיפוש ויצירת גבולות למסורת שמורה בתוך עולם מודרני מבלי להעלים את בסיס המסורתיות.

The project deals with the dilemma of preserving tradition within a modern world. Tradition is an old, wrapped, and protected world that often clashes with contemporary reality. This dilemma is rooted in my personal life and in the ongoing tension between the desire to live a life composed of both tradition and modernity. 

The collection expresses the relationship between memory, tradition, and modern life through values such as dramatic formal wrapping, exposure, release, revelation, and multilayering. On one hand, the goal is to embed material, textural, and decorative memories drawn from tradition and the Orthodox world; on the other hand, it aims to grant the wearer autonomy in choosing the level, manner, and timing of exposure. The garments, conceived as enveloping forms, create new body silhouettes through the act of wrapping, examining the boundaries of the human and feminine body—shaping forms that are familiar yet altered. The tension between innovative, boundary-pushing directions and the familiar silhouette engages in a dialogue about redefining tradition within a modern world, without erasing the foundational presence of traditionalism
