רוני מרקמן // חליפות

 

החליפה, שהייתה בעבר סמל למעמד, כלכלה ותעסוקה – משתחררת. לא עוד פריט שמור לאנשי משרדים או אירועים רשמיים, אלא ביטוי חדש של חופש, נוחות, והגדרה עצמית. המשרד הפך לסקסי, והחליפה היא המסכה החדשה שלנו – עוטפת, נוחה, מותאמת ומאפשרת מקום לביטוי עצמי .

פרויקט הגמר שלי עוסק בעיצוב מחודש של החליפה עבור דור ה-Z ואלפא – דורות שחיים במציאות של חיפוש אחר הדרך המהירה, קיימות, פתיחות מגדרית, חדשנות טכנולוגית וחשיבה על נוחות ובריאות הנפש לא פחות מהסטייל. 

בקולקציה אני בוחנת כיצד דווקא באמצעות הטכנולוגיה נוכל להגן על עצמנו מפניה ולדעת להבדיל בין אדם למכונה. הטכנולוגיה אינה אויב – אלא דבר שיכול לעטוף אותנו, לשמש אותנו ולהפוך לכלי חדשני, שימושי ונוח, אך עם קריצה לעבר ולנוסטלגיה. העיצובים מתכתבים עם חליפות שנות ה-80 – כתפיים רחבות, קווי מתאר חדים ומראה יוניסקס עוצמתי – יחד עם גזרות שמשלבות בין נוחות לרישמיות . הפרטים העיצוביים נולדו מתוך מחשבה על אורח החיים החדש של הדור הצעיר, דור חסר סבלנות שהפך עצלנות ליעילות. בעזרת סגירות מגנטיות, כיסים חכמים, הגנה מהשמש או מהקור וסימנים שרק עין אנושית יכולה להבחין בהם, החליפות מותאמות לדור החדש. ​

Once a symbol of status, economy, and employment, the suit is breaking free. No longer reserved for office workers or formal occasions, it now represents a new expression of freedom, comfort, and self-definition. The office has become sexy, and the suit is our new mask—wrapping, protecting, and providing space for self-expression.

 

My final project reimagines the suit for Generations Z and Alpha generations living in a reality shaped by the search for immediacy, sustainability, gender fluidity, technological innovation, and a focus on mental well-being just as much as style.

 

In this collection, I explore how technology can serve as a form of protection and how it can actually help shield us from itself, allowing us to distinguish between human and machine. Technology is not the enemy ,it's a tool that can envelop us, serve us, and become a functional, innovative, and comfortable ally, while nodding to the past and evoking nostalgia.

 

The designs reference power suits of the 1980s - broad shoulders, sharp silhouettes, and a strong unisex aesthetic blended with cuts that balance comfort and formality. The details are rooted in the lifestyle of the new generation: a generation with little patience, who have turned laziness into efficiency. With magnetic closures, smart pockets, sun and cold protection, and markers only the human eye can detect, these suits are tailored for a new era.
