הקולקציה נולדה מתוך פחד מהשליטה הגברית בגוף הנשי, תופעה היסטורית שממשיכה להיות רלוונטית גם כיום. שאלתי המרכזית היא: האם ערכה של אישה עדיין נקבע לפי רחמה בלבד?

ההשראה לקולקציה נובעת מהאופן שבו התרבות והדת הגדירו את תפקידה של האישה לאורך ההיסטוריה — מסיפורי בראשית שבהם סקרנות נשית נענשת בכאב ולידה, ועד הגות פמיניסטית שמבקשת לפרק את הקשר בין גוף נשי לבין זהות ומשמעות.

הקולקציה הינה לנשים, עשויה כולה מעור טבעי על סוגיו, שעבר פיתוחים ייחודיים ועובד בטכניקות של פיסול מה שמעניק לבגדים מראה קשיח ולעיתים מגביל, כמו מעטפת מגוננת אך גם כובלת.

הגזרות שואבות השראה מסילואטות נשיות של שנות ה־50 – עשור שבו נשים נדרשו לחזור לתפקידי הבית לאחר המלחמה – ומשלבות מחווה עיצובית למתח ההיסטורי שבין לבוש גברי לנשי, ולמשא ומתן הבלתי פוסק על גבולות, תפקודים ומרחב אישי.

דרך הקולקציה אני מבטאת תחושת ניכור תמידית כאישה בתעשייה שמעדיפה את הפוטנציאל הרבייתי שלי על פני זה המקצועי. הפריטים עוסקים בקונפליקט בין אידיאלים חברתיים לבין הגוף הנשי החי, החושב, הפועל – ומציעים שפה חדשה, שבה אישה לא נמדדת רק לפי גופה.

This collection was born out of fear of the male control over the female body, a historical phenomenon that remains deeply relevant today.

My central question is: is a woman’s value still defined by her womb alone?

The collection draws inspiration from the ways culture and religion have shaped the role of women throughout history — from Genesis stories, where female curiosity is punished with pain and childbirth, to feminist thought that seeks to dismantle the link between the female body and a woman’s identity or value.

Designed for women, the garments are made of natural leather in various types, processed through sculpting techniques and unique manipulations that give them a rigid, sometimes restrictive appearance - like a protective shell that also confines.

 

The silhouettes are inspired by the feminine shapes of the 1950s — a decade when women were pushed back into domestic roles after the war and pay homage to the ongoing tension between masculine and feminine fashion, and the negotiation of boundaries, roles, and personal space.

Through this collection, I express a constant sense of alienation — as a woman in an industry that often values my reproductive potential over my professional one. These garments explore the conflict between societal ideals and the living, thinking, acting female body — offering a new visual language in which women are not measured solely by their physical form.
