זוהר סטולמן // מסע אחר שייכות 

 

הפרויקט שלי עוסק במסע האינסופי אחר שייכות.  מאז שעליתי לארץ בגיל 9, מלווה אותי תחושת זרות וחיפוש אחר מקום שבו ארגיש בנוח. מוטיב המסע נובע מטיולי חוגי הסיירות שהייתי יוצא אליהם בתור ילד. ההשתתפות במסגרת הזאת  הטמיעה בי אהבה לטיולים וכך נוצר אצלי החיבור בין תחושת שייכות לטיולים בטבע. בעיני, הקשר בין האדם לטבע משקף תהליך מתמשך של חיפוש משמעות וזיקה למקום.  

בפרויקט הגמר שלי אני מבטא את המסע הזה דרך קולקציית בגדי גברים שמדמים בגדי טיולים – אך אינם מיועדים לכך באופן ממשי. הם מתנתקים מההקשר הפונקציונלי שלהם, והופכים לסמל למסע פנימי ומדומיין.
החומרים בקולקציה כוללים בדי ניילון, קנבס, עור וג׳ינס, הדפסי קאמופלאז’ שנלקחו מהשתקפויות של עצים ועלים וסריגים בהשראת שורשי עצים.  אלמנטים קלאסיים מבגדי שטח מקבלים כאן פרשנות חדשה ואישית.

Zohar Stollman // A Journey Toward Belonging

My project explores the endless journey toward belonging. Since immigrating to Israel at the age of nine, I’ve felt a constant sense of alienation and a longing for ease. The theme of the journey stems from my childhood experiences in a hiking youth group, where I first connected hiking with a sense of place and identity.

To me, the relationship between humans and nature reflects an ongoing search for meaning and a sense of place.

In my final project, I express this through a menswear collection inspired by hiking attire—but not intended for actual hikes. By detaching the garments from their functional purpose, I turn them into symbols of an imagined, internal journey. 

The collection includes nylon, canvas, leather, and denim fabrics, with camouflage prints derived from reflections of trees and leaves, and knits echoing roots. Classic outdoor elements are reinterpreted through a personal, emotional lens.
