מיקונוס מציצים היא קולקציית ריזורט שנולדה מתוך מציאות ישראלית מורכבת, שבה חופשת הקיץ שהפכה בשנים האחרונות לסמל סטטוס מתוקשר ומצולם, מתנגשת פעם נוספת עם מציאות ביטחונית בלתי צפויה. כשהשמיים סגורים, והדרכון שוכב מובטל במגירה, רבים מוצאים עצמם שואלים, מה עושים כשאין מיקונוס, אלא מציצים?

הקולקציה מציעה קריאה מחודשת לריזורט המקומי – חוף מציצים הופך לזירת פנטזיה חדשה, כזו שמצליחה לשלב בין היוקרה הים-תיכונית של מיקונוס לבין הקסם הלא מתאמץ של תל אביב. בין מתקני חוף סטנדרטיים של העירייה לקוקטייל יוקרתי על יאכטה, נשזר דיאלוג צבעוני, הומוריסטי ורב-שכבתי על תרבות, מקום והסתגלות למצבים בלתי צפויים. 

באמצעות שילוב של טכניקות מגוונות כגון הדפסות דיגיטליות, קורדינג, שזירה, וקרושה ותוך שימוש בשפה עיצובית עזה ורוויה, נבנה עולם חזותי המתרגם את הניגוד בין החלום על חופשה פוטוגנית ואקסקלוסיבית לבין המציאות הישראלית, לכדי קולקצית ריזורט אחת נועזת ומודעת לעצמה.

זהו מפגש בין פנטזיה ופרקטיקה, בין ביץ׳ קלאב  בוטיקי לחול דביק בסנדלים – עם קריצה של הומור עצמי, כי אם כבר להישאר בארץ, לפחות לעשות את זה בסטייל.

‏Mykonos Metzitzim is a resort collection that was born out of a complex Israeli reality, where the summer vacation that has become a highly publicized and photographed status symbol in recent years collides once again due to an unexpected confidential reality. When the skies are closed, and the passport lies with no use in the drawer, many find themselves asking, what do we do when there is no Mykonos, but there is Metzitzim?

‏The collection offers a new outlook on the local resort – Metzitzim beach in Tel Aviv becomes a new fantasy arena, one that manages to combine the Mediterranean luxury of Mykonos with the effortless charm of Tel Aviv. Between standard municipal beach facilities and the luxury of a cocktail on a yacht, a colorful, humorous and multi-layered dialogue about culture, place and adaptation to unexpected situations is woven. Through a combination of diverse techniques such as digital printing , cording, weaving, and crochet, while using a strong and saturated design language, a visual world was built that translates the contrast between the dream of a photogenic and exclusive vacation and the Israeli reality into one bold and self-aware resort collection.
