הפרויקט שלי עוסק בקשר העמוק שלי עם אבי ובוחן את המתח שבין המשכיות לשינוי. כאחת מתוך ארבע בנות לאב נגר שאלת ההמשכיות תמיד ריחפה ברקע: מי ימשיך את דרכו של אבי? בפרויקט זה אני בוחנת את מרחב העבודה של אבי שמאופיין בגבולות ברורים, קווים ישרים, חוזק ואיפוק רגשי, זאת לעומת המרחב שלי שמאופיין ברגישות, רכות, שקיפות ותנועה אמורפית.

יצרתי קולקציה נשית המשלבת לבוש מחויט ונשענת על הרעיון של המשכיות מול שינוי וטרנספורמציה של הבגד תוך חשיפה והסתרה של אזורים מסוימים בגוף ויציאה מגבולותיו.

הפרויקט משלב חומרים טבעיים של עור, עץ וצמר, עבודות גילוף בעץ וטכניקה של אריגה-סריגה בעור המבטאת את המתח שבין רכות לנוקשות. הצבעונית נשענת על גווני העץ ועל מרחב העבודה של אבי.

במרחב שבין המשכיות לשינוי, אני יוצרת שפה המושתתת על מה שנמסר לי ועל מה שבחרתי לקחת ממנו.

My project explores the profound relationship with my father, examining the tension between continuity and change. As one of four daughters born to a carpenter, the question of inheritance has always lingered in the background: who will continue his path?

In this project, I examine my father’s workspace — defined by precision, strict boundaries, strength, and emotional restraint — in contrast to my own creative space, which is characterized by sensitivity, softness, transparency, and amorphous movement.

I created a womenswear collection that combines tailoring with a dialogue between continuity and transformation. Through exposure and concealment of certain parts of the body, I challenge and break traditional boundaries of the garment.

The collection incorporates natural materials such as leather, wood, and wool, with wood carving techniques and a unique leather weaving-knitting method that expresses the tension between softness and rigidity. The color palette draws inspiration from the natural tones of wood and my father’s workshop.

In the space between continuity and change, I shape a language rooted in what has been passed on to me — and in what I choose to make my own.
